A graduate conference to mark the 128th birthday of James Joyce will be held at the James Joyce Research Centre, University College Dublin, Ireland on 22nd and 23rd January 2010. The conference will be organized by University College Dublin in association with Università Roma Tre.
Plenary speakers include Professor Franca Ruggieri, Dr Fritz Senn and Professor John McCourt.
Twenty-minute papers are invited on all facets of Joyce\’s work by doctoral and post-doctoral students who are currently working on Joyce and on aspects of modernism and/or of twentieth-century literature. The conference will be an opportunity to present work in progress on Joyce to an international audience.
Abstracts of about 300 words, a cv and a brief outline of your research project should be emailed by 31 October 2009 to Professor Anne Fogarty: joyceresearchcentre@ucd.ie.
